debra spindler pinals has never purchased stationery in her adult life. this is not to say she does not believe in written correspondence. in fact, it's a passion. for years, debra has cruised city streets and nature paths for inspiration to create her own unique holiday cards, invitations and announcements. after countless pleas to go public, debra knew it was time to transform her hobby into a business. never far from a stack of fashion and interior design magazines, debra loves to experiment with unexpected color combinations. thanks to the encouragement of her family and her high school art teacher, debra pursued art at syracuse university, receiving a bachelor of arts degree in communication design, with a minor in photography. positions at both random house publishing and newbridge educational publishing allowed debra to hone her skills in graphic design. after a decade of corporate creativity, debra established herself as a freelance graphic designer, boasting clients such as raindrop publishing and time 4 media. along the way, debra married childhood crush, jeff pinals, and they have since had two bubbulas of their own, jayson paull and leia cate.
